Building things
My dad has been working hard building a shelf for the junk room in my house. I'm very excited about getting things all organized. There'll be so much space everywher
e else once I get things put away in here. I really wanted to find crown molding trim to put around the top half. They don't have any the right size though. We'll make 4 doors for the bottom half using wainscoat. It's gonna be perfect!
Other than that I went to the museum this weekend and I got to hang out with my dear friend Becky after church. We cooked a great lunch at my folks' house and then we watched Eragon.
My dad went to church with me this weekend and I think he liked it. I'm excited about going to church as a family again.

Trip is all planned!
I can't wait to go and visit my mom in New York. The tickets are bought, now I just have to pay for them and save every penny until the trip. It'll be fun!
I ordered my watercolor palette that I've been wanting. I can't wait to get it and fill it up! Then, maybe create some masterpeices. Or unmasterpieces. We'll see.

A New Year
Well, here we are in the beginning of 2009. I've never realy done the whole resolution thing. I don't like to fail. Therefore, I don't make some random vague promise to myself that I I know I won't keep. There are things I would like to concentrate on. Save more, get out of debt, make more friends, find more ways to be involved in my church, etc. I just don't like the idea that people think they're going to completely change their lives in one fell swoop. It just doesn't generally work like that. I suppose it could. Well, we'll see what happens. Have a great year!
